MacKeller Weathered Tartan is a gentle grey-based tartan with shades of yellow and khaki. Woven using the finest acrylic yarn this tartan is available for made to measure Kilts, accessories, soft furnishings and craft projects.
The MacKellars are a sept of the Clan Campbell and the surname is thought to be derived from the Latin “Hilarious.” From 1470, the MacKellars owned the lands of Ardare in Glassary. The tartan is of modern origin and can be traced back to about 1930.
