The Morrisons were in Lewis and parts of the north-west Highlands at an early date. The Morrisons on the mainland are said to have settled in Sutherland following a dispute with Torquil Dubh MacLeod in the 16th century. Another Morrison family, that of Bognie, were prominent in north-east Scotland. Celtic Attire offers 3 different versions of the tartan fabric:

Morrison Modern is a Dark Green, Navy Blue based tartan with red strips over checks.
